Portion of Cabbage (DS.013)
A solo album from John "Cabbage Hayes" Farmer. He has recorded
this collection of mainly old favourites with some original material supplied
by our old mate Fred Wedlock, who also makes a guest appearance on John's
re-make of Fred's hit the "Oldest Swinger in Town". The rest of
the band performed supporting musical duties and Dave Beck played the cameo
role of God on "The Undertakers Lament" The usual line up was
augmented by Johnny Button who added some fine fiddle on "Swinger". |
